Circumference, Diameter, Pi; what's it all mean?

We did A LOT of learning today!

First we started by reviewing the difference between radius and diameter. Remember Lady Di and her son, Radius? Then we reviewed how to find the circumference. Bring back memories of Sir Cumference?

Then several of you made the discovery that inverse operations would change the algebraic equation and it would still work!!! WOW!!!!!

Remember:

C=3.14 times d OR C/D=3.14 OR C/3.14=D

Please note that I can't show all our great signs and symbols when I am typing. Boy I wish somebody would make a program that allows me to use algebraic notation. (Like the multiplication sign and pi)

Homework: Complete the reverse side of your worksheet. Extra credit if you answer the last question on the front.

Tomorrow: Computer Lab! Don't forget your earphones/head phones if you need them.
